YSLV has taken its first consignment of over 100sqm of the UK’s highest resolution fully outdoor LED screen. The V-Lite R7, which has a true pixel pitch of 7.2mm, is designed for outdoor and indoor use. Being extremely lightweight at 10kg, 570 x 570mm in size, and just 80mm deep the modules offer flexible screen solutions to venues and situations that find weight, size, and resolution an issue.

At 80 x 80 pixels per module with a stunning 19,290 pixels per sq. meter and a high brightness of 5500 NITS, the V-Lite R7 delivers a fantastic image even in direct sunlight. The R7 is ingress rated IP66 front & back for total wet weather protection outdoors and its silent fan-less operation makes it perfect for where fan noise can be a problem.

The screen premiered at the Manchester International Festival in the form of a 2-week 36sqm LED screen art installation by world-renowned Irish artist John Gerrard. Sited outdoors in a Manchester city centre street, the screen showed an infinitely evolving hyper realistic virtual world of an Iranian soldier, played out 24 hours a day.
